TB, 36″ (91 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards lavender to blue grey; Falls greenish mustard, slight tan overlay; beards mustard yellow. Frm Schreiner’s Iris Lovers Catalog 1999: One of the first to bloom, this unusual Australian import is a decidedly different yellow amoena. Affaire’s standards are colored a pale grayish blue lavender while its greenish mustard falls are overlaid in tan. Note the petals’ ethereal lace edges.
