Standards yellow; falls amethyst-violet spot with yellow border; orange beard.
(diploid amoena X (Kinglet x Gold Imperial)), HM 1974.
Note: E.B. Williamson’s 1934 Y4D TB ‘Kinglet’ is found in a number of MTBs. From breeder seedlings by Terry Varner, to introductions such as Jean Witt’s ‘Inner Fires’ and Guild’s ‘Flashing Beacon’. By way of ‘Amethyst Sunset’, it is in a number of Ken Fisher’s: Steffie, Pardener and Yellow Flirt to name a few, and probably Ann Probst’s ‘Pretty Quirky’.
