Full Description

From Cooley’s Iris Garden Catalog 1952 “Brilliant blended self of gold,copper and red, near to burnt orange. Its rich coloring, crispy ruffled form and very late blooming season make it welcome in any planting.”

From Marble Iris Gardens 1952 . “L. 36 in. A brilliant iris of copper leaf henna or Venetian red. The pure cadmium beard and metallic overlay at the haft gives it radiance. The plants are strong and prolific but rather high branched.
