Full Description

TB 38″ M S4M

From Cooley’s 1952 catalog: “A smooth soft brown self which has become justly famous in the short space of two seasons only. It thrilled visitors at American Iris Society conventions in both Nashville and Portland, and ranks with Pretty Quadroon as the two finest and most beautiful light brown Irises of the day. Huge flowers with broad flaring falls and wide standards; orange-brown beard.”

(Casa Morena X Tobacco Road), HM 1948, AM 1950, Dykes Medal 1952.

Note from Webmaster:  Very distinctive ‘brown. The color of AP always reminds me of a well done Thanksgiving turkey.
