TB 38″ M S4M
From Cooley’s 1952 catalog: “A smooth soft brown self which has become justly famous in the short space of two seasons only. It thrilled visitors at American Iris Society conventions in both Nashville and Portland, and ranks with Pretty Quadroon as the two finest and most beautiful light brown Irises of the day. Huge flowers with broad flaring falls and wide standards; orange-brown beard.”
Note from Webmaster: New photo has been added (Image 1 from Presby 2001) which I believe is the closest approach to a correct AP, based on the color. The color of AP always reminds me of a well done Thanksgiving turkey.
