From Easy Breeze Gardens catalog for 1953: “Without a doubt one of the most beautiful white irises in commerce. It is positively a stunner. A large, very broad petaled white beauty with a white beard and greenish cast showing through the center of the falls from beneath. Its ruffling and cool crispness are delightful. From Snow Flurry ex. Cloud Castle, it carries the blue buds of Snow Flurry which upon opening become sparkling white.”
From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1958: “A ruffled, cool crisp, pure white with greenish midrib visible from beneath. The beard is also white. From Snow Flurry crossed with Cloud Castle, it may be tender in cold sections, but elsewhere it is surely one of the largest and most striking pure whites in commerce.”
From Eden Road 1958: “Tops in the white class. The large, broad flowers ruffle from the haft down the sides of the flower. Good grower. Stunning and a “must have”.
