From the Bonnewitz Iris catalog for 1926: “This is a splendid tall Pallida, and I believe that lovers of Pallida Dalmatica will be glad to welcome it. Its flowers are darker blue than those of that excellent standard variety, and some English landscape architects place Corrida at the head of the list of blue Irises for landscape work. I am glad that I have enough stock of it that I can afford to sell it at a popular price.”
