Full Description

TB 38″ M

From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1962: “The most exotic development in iris breeding in recent years has been the crinkled and laced strain. In Crinkled Beauty we have the highest development of this lacy, frothy effect. The color is a pure soft orchid pink overlain with a silvery sheen and a contrasting gold beard. A huge flower with falls of unprecedented width for a laced iris and with much improved branching.”

From Cooley’s Iris Catalog 1967:”A fine example of the progress in breeding for lace, possibly the top production in this line. The large flowers, a delicate orchid pink in color have wide petals and extra heavy substance.”
