Full Description

TB 38″ M

From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1958: “A very large, jewel-bright yellow-ground plicata. The half-inch border of penny-brown is deftly cut, as if shot with fine slender lines on the edge of the falls. In both size and color a very fine yellow plicata.”

From Eden Road Iris Garden catalog for 1956: “(Two Sdlgs.). Beautiful new yellow ground plicata marked with brown. A big improvement in this color class, this is bright and showy with fine form and good growing habits.”

From Walter Marx Gardens catalog for 1958: “A large really bright yellow-ground plicata with a half-inch border of coppery brown shot through with fine, slender lines along the edges of the falls that account for the impressions of movement. No doubt, it is a fine improvement in yellow plicatas – both in size and color and bound to ‘go places’.”
