From Fleur De Lis Iris Catalog 1963: “(Hyblaze x Defiance). A shade lighter but much like Defiance. In its true redness,  thi sis much larger and many times brighter. Broad petaled and well formed, the large flowers are nicely placed on tall well branched stalks. A good grower in every way.
HC 1960.
