Full Description
TB, 36″ (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white ground heavily marked hyacinth blue (M&P 44-H-12); Falls white, solid roslyn blue (44-I-12) edge; della robia blue (43-C-11) beard tipped yellow in throat. Odyssey‘ X ‘Charmed Circle’. Keppel 1977.
From Schreiner’s Iris Lovers Catalog 1987 “The emphasis with this plicata is definitely on the bold deep border .Its standards are heavily margined with hyacinth blue. The falls repeat this pattern except that the center of eac hfall shines white. The beards again pick up the deepe rhyacinth blue shading to complete the rhythm of color.”
