From Eden Road Iris Garden catalog for 1961: “New variegata that is bright and showy. Standards are deep yellow . Falls are rich red with hairline margin of yellow.”
From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1963: “The most brilliant variegata, the deep yellow standards clean and clear, the very red toned falls large and devoid of haft markings. Stalks will often reach to four feet in height.”
