9″ (22,5 cm), Y4L. Light yellow self; yellow beard. 2n=40. Goos & Koenemann 1899. Note: Registered as DB, now considered MDB ‘Florida’ or SDB; note sizes in both descriptions. Also listed in Species Hybrid ‘Florida’.
From Bonnewitz catalog 1920: FLORIDA. S. citron-yellow splotched with bronze; not so pure a yellow as Citrea, but very good; foliage 4-5 in.; flowers 8-10 in. 35 cts; $3 a doz.
