From Quality Gardens catalog for 1931: “S. a beautiful light rose pink. F. deep rose crimson, with wide rose pink margin. This is generally considered to be Goos and Ko(e)nemann’s finest introduction. It has achieved a wide popularity within the last few years. The only trouble we have with this Iris, is to get enough to fill orders.”

From Indian Spring Farms catalog for 1931: “Beautiful color blending. S. rose pink; F. claret red, edged lighter.”
