From Walter Marx Gardens catalog for 1963: “One of our most brilliant and colorful selections from the Rigoletto series. Ground color is white with the bluest penciling of all. The remarkable feature, however, is the center of inky blue-black styles. This sharp color contrast sets this Marhigo apart from all others and the perfectly rounded flowers of crisp flaring form are of medium size averaging about 7 inches in diameter. 4 feet. Midseason.”
From two Marhigo sdlgs., HM 1965.
