Full Description

TB 32″ L

From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1966: “Like a dichoric jewel, flashing more than one brilliant color, this rich oriental-toned iris is a medley of coppers, violets, sunset hues, and reds intermingled with an electric blue flush on the velvet falls and a beard of burnished gold. We hope the engraver successfully captures this luxurious commingling of velvet tones. Illustration at left. If you like the sheen of deep-colored petunias, you will love this rich and scintillating iris. Beauty will out! Garden visitors have so said of this: “Wow, that’s a rich one!” ”
