From Schreiner’s Iris Lovers Catalog 1974: “From the cross of the celebrated splended iris Henry Shaw x Kingdom, Mr Moldovan selected this one plant from over 300 seedlings. Surpassing both parents in form, size and stem production, it is an intensely ruffled, beautifully formed, very large cream with prominent lemon yellow hafts Branching and plant habits are ideal, Imposing!”.
