Full Description
TB 42″ L
From Lloyd Austin’s catalog for 1962: “Most brilliant of all horned and spooned Iris. Standards bright pink, flushed yellow. Falls brilliant crimson, with striking snow-capped effect, resembling pollen parent Mulberry Snow. Beard also white, adding to effect. The mystery arises as to why it is sometimes a stunning horned Iris, with pure white needle-like horns 1″ to 1½” long, & sometimes a breath-taking spooned one, with bright red spoons as large as 1″ across, at ends of white horns. Highly decorative in either form; sure to cause lots of excitement. See what it will do for you! 48 chromosomes. Pollen plentiful.”
(Maytime X Mulberry Snow).
