From Robert Wayman Rare Iris and Peonies, 1936; ” A pale coffee and lavender blend with a soft pink flush. And unusual and indescribably beautiful iris.”
Midseason bloom. Color Class S7L. ‘Tuscany Gold’ x unknown.

From Quality Iris Gardens 1937 “ M. 42″. A huge flower whose coloring is the despair of the descriptionist. A soft coffee color, tinged lavender and cream with a lustrous pink overglow. The stalk is very tall and the symmetrical flowers are large and well placed on the widely branched stems. A very strong grower and heavy bloomer. $3.00 H.M., A.l.S., 1933.
