IB E W4
From Cornell Extension Bulletin 1925: “Color effect a cream white self. Standards iridescent cream yellow. Falls same veined waxy yellow to olive on outer haft. Fine dense projecting yellow beard. The plant is a vigorous grower of stiff yellow green foliage. The immense flowers are freely borne in early season. This is the most outstanding of the intermediates for size and mass of color.”
Note: Caparne originated the intermediate bearded (IB) iris class, and introduced around 100 original IB and dwarf irises.
