From Eden Road Iris Garden catalog for 1973: “Sib. to RAIN OR SHINE. This very large flower is an approach to pink standards and blue falls. The ruffled closed standards are buff with a peach glow. The wide, very flaring falls are fluted and ruffled and are closet to Veronica Violet 639/3. with a quarter inch edging of buff peach. Beard is Cadmium Orange, 8/1. 3 braches and terminal. Pod fertile. Limit one.”
