From DeForest’s Irisnoll catalog for 1946: “Graceful flower, with wide, fluted standards and falls. Medium blue self, with blue beard tipped orange inside the flower.”

From National Iris Gardens catalog for 1948: “Broad petaled flower of medium blue. The deeper colored veining and fluted edges, add to the charm of this iris.”

From Tell’s Iris Gardens catalog for 1951: “Medium blue with texture veining. Said to be a fine blue parent with SNOW FLURRY. Should be good for blue blends, too.”

From Williamson Iris 1952 “A very large but graceful flower with wide fluted S. and F. A rich satiny medium blue self with blue beard tipped orange. Striking.”
