Full Description

From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1968: “An Iris that will enhance any spot it occupies, be it park, backyard garden or commercial planting. Its color combination attracts one like a magnet. The graceful, lightly waved florets, with standards of crystalline white, like the twinkling milky way, contrast beautifully with the sumptuous falls of velvety, nighttime blue-purple and a capping white beard. Clean, contrasting, neat and tailored in appearance, with a ramrod stiff stem and three flowers open at a time. Every garden needs the color fascination of a purple and white amoena. Truly lovely.”
