Full Description

TB, 36″ (91 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards tan, red violet midrib; falls smooth medium red violet; medium gold beard; heavily ruffled. Seedling# H22B: ((‘Gala Madrid‘ x ‘Dialogue’) x ((‘Prophecy’ x ‘Gypsy Belle’) x ‘Intuition)) X ‘P. T. Barnum’. Maryott’s Gardens 1988.

From Schreiner’s Iris Lovers Catalog 1996:

“Wild ruffling gives these colorful flowers a distinctive south-of-the-border rhythm. Mariachi Music’s arched buff standards are infused with violet at the midribs. The rich plum magenta falls are quite flared, accentuated by the heavy ruffles.”
