From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1974: “This is a lovely blue-orchid self with white-centered falls. It has a white beard lightly touched with yellow. The falls are wide and nicely flaring with standards closing gently in a round, wavy top. Tall with good branching and a long season of bloom. The hybridizer considers this his finest seedling.”
From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1986: “Hybridizer Larry Gaulter endorses this lovely light blue orchid self as his finest seedling. We agree. White beards lightly touched with yellow sit atop the wide and nicely flaring white centered falls. The standards close gently into a round wavy top. Long season of bloom, nicely branched stems.”
