Falls pure white with a wide and effective border of lemon yellow. Unlike most tall bearded iris, this has a white rooster comb crest at the end of beard. strong tendency to rebloom in fall. Sweetly scented.Pollen Plentiful.”
From Iris Test Gardens catalog for 1960: “For beauty and symmetry of color this Iris can scarcely be excelled. So celestial it could go in a bridal bouquet. A limpid cool yellow with bright gold on the crisp white heart of the falls. Wax-like with a pronounced sheen and finish.
