Standards marigold-orange; falls Spanish-orange; orange-red beard. (( ‘Pink Tower’ x ‘Radiation’) x ‘Pink Formal‘) X sibling to ‘Glittering Amber’. Mission Bell 1961

From Fleur de Lis Iris Catalog 1965 “EL 36”  “A wide petaled large flower of deep Marigold orange and Spanish orange with a rich red orange beard. Moderately ruffled and slightly laced. HM 1962. 15.00.”

From Cooley’s Iris Catalog 1971 “A vivid and moderately laced and ruffled orange bitone between Marigold and Spanish orange. A Startling and rich orange effect. Wide, flaing falls and closed standards. Fairly early . 38 inches  ”
