From DeForest’s Irisnoll catalog for 1946: “Tall plicata. Light creamy standards flushed pale rosy lavender. Falls flaring, white. Brushed bright gold across the haft. Brown markings.”

From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1956: “A white plicata which we like very much and which we regard as different from the many others listed. Standards light cream flushed pale rosy lavender; falls sparkling white brushed bright gold across the haft which is speckled rose-brown. Refined, clean and very brilliant. Tall and large with all good points.”

(Tiffany X Salar), HM 1946.

From Webmaster: Note the variation in plicata markings in images 1 and 2. Both are from the same plant, but different year. Image 1 was from a cool Spring,  while image 2 was from a hot Spring.
