From Marble Iris Gardens catalog for 1954: “A unusual break in the pink class. It is a medium to dark pink self, with exceptionally fine blooms placed well on strong sturdy stalks. To really appreciate this flower it must be seen growing in the garden. It is one that attracts visitors.”
