Full Description

TB 38″ M

From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1958: “An accidental by-product of amoena breeding, this exotic hybrid is one of Nature’s gratuities and a very choice Iris in its own right. The taffeta standards are predominately a shimmering lavender-pink and the velvety falls a glowing blended red. Like a dichromatic jewel such as a sapphire or alexandrite which shoots out two color tones at once, Queen’s Taste exhibits a very subtle blend of colors. Substance, form, branching and vigor are all ideal. There is no other Iris just this color and we feel sure you’ll find that the Queen’s Taste is also your taste.”
