Full Description

TB 36″ M

From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1968: “A most unusual shade of light purple, or perhaps ‘slate-blue’ might be a more apt term. This is lit with a rich tangerine-red beard. Branching almost from the ground, on heavy stems, it carries above average number of large flowers and thus blooms over a very long season. Nearest thing to it in color combination might be Lovely Letty. Both Arctic Flame and Rippling Waters are in its parentage. 36 inches. No. 65-52.”

From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog for 1970: “A large blended flower of slate blue and light amaranth, this appears to be a self of light Manganese violet.”

((((Fuchsia x Party Dress) x (Frost And Flame x sib)) x (Arctic Flame x sib))) X Rippling Waters). HM 1969.
