From Oakhurst Gardens catalog for 1939: “Pure waxy white with the standards finely veined pale lilac. The falls are dotted the same color on the haft. A lovely Plicata. 38 in.”
From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1947: “Daintiest of plicatas with an ivory-white ground faintly stitched and polka-dotted an exquisite lavender. Flowers are large and beautifully formed.”
