From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1946: “One of the new pure white iris. Silken finish, clear haft, good substance, four well placed branches. This iris is especially liked in the south and east where it is rated one of the best whites.

From Tell’s Iris gardens catalog for 1951: “Smoothly finished white. Will throw tangerine bearded pinks and whites if bred to them.”

From Marble Iris Gardens catalog for 1954: “A pure silky white Iris with a yellow flush at the throat. The domed standards are very broad and have a strong midrib. The falls are arched and flaring with a pale yellow flush deep in the throat. The flowers are large and well proportioned to the ideally branched stalk. It is one of the ranking white Iris of today.”
