From Maryott’s Iris Gardens catalog for 1983: “This iris was the best of about 200 seedlings from Cinnamon Sand and Siva Siva. It has brown plicata markings on white ground, lovely form and branching, and grows very strong. The form is wide and ruffled, and it’s much loved by the public.”
