Falls 3 X 3 inches, rounded wide at the haft. Standards three by 3 ½ inches, closed. Styles yellow, flushed “pink”. Beard orange yellow. A large flower with substance, and form to display its color.”
From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1948: “Coppery pink with yellow undertone having a metallic finish. Very wide segments, rounded form with slightly flaring falls and unusually large flowers. Difficult to describe, but we regard it as the nextCasa Morena in merit among all DeForest introductions.”
