From Lloyd Austin’s iris Color Guidebook 1966  “E-36″ – A large very flaring bright yellow, with spread of 7”. Beards end in decorative yellow spoons, often up to 1″ wide and 1.5 inches long, sometimes even flounced. Both standards and falls have quite pronounced and delightful lacy edging. A fine breecer (Happy Birthday x Spoon of Gold).”
