From Fleur de Lis Iris Catalog 1965 “(Fairy Fable seedling). Very large beautifully formed and tailored with broad full petals and delightfully lacy edge. Entirely different in coloring, this is smooth Begoina pink with a pale undertone of salmon. Its heavy Saturn red beard accents this smooth richness HC 1962. 10.00”

From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s catalog for 1966: “This could well be one of the largest of the flamingo pinks. Very large, tailored blooms with broad, full petals and a lacy edge. Entirely different in coloring, it is a smooth Begonia pink with an undertone of salmon with a rich beard. Texture is like enamel. A most pleasantly colored, eye arresting iris.”
