Full Description

TB, 36″

(91 cm), Early to late bloom. Color Class-O1, Antique bronze self, slight infusion of chartreuse; beard same. Seedling# 49-2: (‘Sylvia Murray’ x Rocket) x Cordovan. Baker’s Acre 1958.

Two photos here appear they could be different cultivars. The AIS description does not mention the lavender flush upon the falls. Iris from Presby’s appears to be more in agreement with the AIS description, although natural variations could produce the ‘lavender subtle flush’ on the Fox speciment. More research will be forthcoming. We will post here any new developments.
