From Eden Road Iris Garden catalog for 1966: “Clear rose pink standards over violet purple falls edged rose pink. Beard is red-orange. This is in a class by itself. Blooms are ruffly and large and stalks are well branched. Has fertile pollen.”

From Wild’s of Missouri catalog for 1972: “A combination of clear rose-pink and deep violet purple, the edging of rose-pink around the velvety falls exactly matches the standards. Ruffled, flaring, clean and sharp contrast. Large blooms, well branched.”

From Cooley’s Iris Catalog 1976 “A combination of clear rose pink and deep violet purple – ruffled, flaring, clean and sharp in contrast! The edging of rose pink around thevelvety falls exactly matches the standards. There is a warm glow at the heart of the flower and the beard is red-orange. Large blooms well branched.”
